Wayne Routledge saved the blushes of Premiership side Fulham with his injury time winner making it 4-3 against Leicester City in their FA Cup replay to sneak into the fourth round.
The Championship outfit had taken the lead after just 12 minutes as Matt Fryatt slotted home Gareth Williams' cross from the left.
They were able to compete with the Premiership side for much of the half until Brian McBride levelled in the 35th minute.
The American blasted past Leicester goalkeeper Paul Henderson as he found the top right hand corner of the goal.
However, the lead did not last long as Gareth McAuley put Leicester in front on the stroke of half-time.
Frank Queudrue gave away a free kick which Levi Porter swung in to find McAuley at the far post who nodded past Tony Warner from six yards out.
The Foxes then extended their lead at the start of the second-half when James Wesolowski found the back of the net with a strike from 20 yards out.
Fulham mounted a spirited comeback spearheaded by on-loan Italian international Vincenzo Montella who had replaced the injured McBride.
Montella reduced the deficit after 51 minutes by side-footing in Michael Brown's cross from the left and then levelled the scores from Routledge's corner nine minutes later.
Routledge then completed the fight back scoring in the fourth minute of injury time as the tie looked to be heading for extra time.
Having rounded two defenders he seemed to be fouled but the referee played advantage and the winger placed the ball past Henderson to win the game.
