Dejan Stefanovic also has Premier League experience with Pompey
Fulham defender Dejan Stefanovic has joined Norwich City for an undisclosed fee. The defender has signed a two-year deal with the Championship club.
The Canaries have also sealed a season-long loan agreement for promising Fulham defender Elliot Omozusi.
Stefanovic, 33, joined the Cottagers at the start of last season from Portsmouth but only made 15 first-team appearances during his spell at the club.
Omozusi is a product of the Fulham youth system and has represented England at youth level. The 19-year-old made 11 appearances in the league and cup for the Cottagers last season.
Fulham hope the player is able to get more firs-team experience by joining the Canaries for a season, while Norwich boss Glenn Roeder believes he will bolster his squad and help their promotion push.
Stefanovic has spent the last nine years of his career in the Premier League and Roeder believes that experience will help his side next season.
He said: "It's great to bring in two players with Premiership experience and their arrival is part of our squad rebuilding ahead of the new season."
Roeder explained that Norwich assistant coach Lee Clarke had noted Omozusi's talent while playing for the Cottagers.
Roeder added: "Elliot is a young player who we've been aware of for some time."
Fulham also confirmed that defender Ricardo Batista has signed for Sporting Lisbon on a permanent deal.
