New Bolton manager Sammy Lee has stamped his own mark on his squad by allowing four players to leave the club.
Included in the list of those released by the Lancashire club are three regular first-team players - Quinton Fortune, Henrik Pedersen and David Thompson - while Cesar Martin has also not been retained.
Reported Chelsea target Tal Ben Haim and young Polish defender Blazej Augustyn are also out of contract but have been offered new deals at the club.
Danish striker Pedersen has been at the club since joining from Silkborg and has scored 29 times in more than 100 appearances for the club.
Former Manchester United midfielder Fortune moved to Bolton on a free transfer last summer but has only made six starts for the Trotters after a season beset by injuries.
Midfielder Thompson leaves having also made minimal impact at the Reebok, having made three starts and five appearances from the bench since his transfer-window move from Portsmouth in January.
And 30-year-old Spanish defender Cesar departs with just one substitute appearance to his name since his free transfer from Levante last summer.
