England youth internationals Gavin and Justin Hoyte could become only the fourth set of brothers to play for Arsenal tonight.
The two defenders are both in Arsene Wenger's squad for the Carling Cup tie with Newcastle tonight and could end up on the pitch at the same time.
Elder brother Justin featured for the Gunners first team for much of last season, although his appearances have been limited by the arrival of Bacary Sagna this campaign.
His younger sibling Gavin has been on the bench for Arsenal's FA Cup clash with Blackburn last season but has never made the first XI.
Justin, 22, is set to start against the Magpies, while Gavin, 18, is likely to be among the substitutes.
If the brothers both feature then they will follow Leslie and Denis Compton, Charles and Joe Satterthwaite and Danny and Denis Clapton in pulling on a Gunners shirt at the same time.
Wenger has again opted to rest most of his first-team players for the competition, with defenders Philippe Senderos and Emmanuel Eboue the only normal starters featuring.
Abou Diaby, Denilson and Alexandre Song will bring some first-team experience to the midfield, while Croatian striker Eduardo is set to start alongside England's Theo Walcott or Denmark's Nicklas Bendtner up front.
Lassana Diarra, a deadline-day arrival from Chelsea, is set to make his first start, while Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will be between the sticks for the first time since his summer move to the Emirates.
Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is expected to field a near-full-strength side, although striker Michael Owen is out with a groin problem.
