Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has already spoken of his desire to win another Champions League trophy following his side's success in Moscow.
Rooney, who was visibly upset at being withdrawn during the second half of the match, has been largely below-par this season.
However, he was full of the hustle and bustle fans have come to expect from him up front alongside Carlos Tevez in the final.
And despite getting his hands on a first European trophy with the club, Rooney believes it is only the start of a series of successes in continental football.
"I hope we can win it again," he told Manchester United's official website.
"Doing it this year has given us a taste for it and we want to do well again next season.
"We've got some great young players in the squad mixed with experience, so hopefully we can do well again."
