Alex Ferguson has been named as manager of the year by the League Managers' Association (LMA) after guiding Manchester United to the Premier League title.
The Scot was also handed the LMA's Premier League manager of the year award following his team's tenth title win in England's top flight competition.
Ferguson, who last won the LMA's top accolade in United's treble-winning season of 1999, said he was "very proud" of the award.
"It is a tremendous honour that my fellow managers and LMA members should deem me worthy of this award," he said.
Other managers being recognised by their peers included Tony Mowbray, who won the LMA award for the Championship after returning West Brom to the Premier League by winning the division.
Roberto Martinez picked up the League One award for doing the same with Swansea, while Hereford's Graham Turner was named League Two manager of the season for achieving automatic promotion at the first time of asking.
LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson said this year's winners should be rightly proud of their achievements.
"The awards recognise the achievements of the managers across the four top leagues in England," he explained.
"The LMA would like to congratulate all the managers for playing such an integral role in another fantastic season."
