Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Danny Guthrie on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old made his Anfield debut last season during the Reds' thrilling Carling Cup victory at Reading last season, a game that finished 4-3, and has made a total of three appearances for his parent club.
Guthrie also spent a portion of last term on loan at Championship side Southampton and is a product of the Merseysiders' successful academy programme.
Bolton boss Sammy Lee said he is very pleased to have signed a midfielder with creativity and vision, as well as a player who has Champions League experience.
"Danny is a dynamic midfielder who is very comfortable on the ball," Lee told the Bolton website.
"He has a tremendous work-ethic and has got a great engine. He is a very good passer who will suit our type of football."
Guthrie is Bolton's sixth signing since the season finished, joining fellow new arrivals Jlloyd Samuel, Gavin McCann, Blerim Dzemaili, Gerald Cid and Zoltan Harsanyi.
