Chelsea youngster Scott Sinclair's loan at Charlton Athletic has been cancelled in order for him to join Crystal Palace until the end of the season.
The surprise move has reportedly come about due to the Blues' wish for the 19-year-old to gain more first-team football than was available to him at the Valley.
Sinclair has made only three substitute appearances for the Addicks since joining the club on loan at the end of February.
Therefore Chelsea ended his loan in order to make him available to other clubs ahead of the loan transfer deadline tonight.
A brief statement from the Premier League side reads: "Scott Sinclair's loan to Charlton Athletic has been cancelled with immediate effect.
"Scott has now signed for Crystal Palace until the end of the season."
As well as playing for Charlton this year, the winger has also featured several times for Avram Grant's first team - mostly in FA Cup and Carling Cup matches.
He has also spent some time at another London-based Championship club, Queens Park Rangers, earlier this term.
