Former Fulham boss Chris Coleman has admitted he wants to return to the Premier League.
The Welshman resigned as manager of Spanish second division club Real Sociedad last week.
Coleman and his assistant Steve Kean quit after six months in charge, claiming the president was going behind their backs and signing players.
The 37-year-old has been linked with the assistant manager's job at Newcastle United, and was previously tipped for the vacant post at Bolton Wanderers to replace Sammy Lee.
Coleman says he wants a break before getting back into football management.
"I've been doing it for the last five years so maybe a bit of time off won't do me any harm," Coleman told the BBC.
"But if something comes up and you think it could be a good one, then you're going to go for it."
Under the ex-Crystal Palace defender, Sociedad won eight matches, lost seven, and had five draws.
Coleman claims new Sociedad president Inaki Badiola broke his promise that he would be responsible for bringing in signings.
"One stipulation I made in my contract was that I was allowed to buy and sell my own players and he agreed but I know he went back on that because the first player who came through the door was not my signing," Coleman said.
