Arsene Wenger has revealed he will take a "risk" and include Thierry Henry in the squad for Wednesday's crunch Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven.

The French striker will have a fitness test tomorrow to assess whether he has recovered from hamstring and foot injuries.

Henry was given a painkilling injection for the Gunners' first leg clash against the Dutch side, which they lost 1-0.

Wenger said despite Emmanuel Adebayor being available for the game, Henry may feature at the Emirates stadium.

"His chances are 50-50, not more than that," Wenger said.

"He will not train at all but we will risk him by including him in the 18. Whether he starts or not, I do not know, he will have a test on Tuesday."

"I do not think we will give him another injection because that did not work last time."

Henry has not played since the Gunners' defeat to PSV two weeks ago in a season dogged by niggling injuries.

The striker admitted it was frustrating watching his side from the sidelines in Saturday's 2-1 win over Reading.

Henry said in the Arsenal programme for the 2-1 win over Reading: "Perhaps it was due to happen to me, though, because since I arrived at Arsenal I have not really had that."

"I think I made a mistake at the beginning of the season when I played while not fully fit after the World Cup. I guess I am paying for that now."

"I always knew this would be a difficult season for me physically, but I did not expect to have so many niggling injuries."

Despite his injury problems, Henry has bagged 12 goals in all competitions this season.End of story
