Thirteen men are currently trapped underground in a coal mine in Ukraine.
Earlier, 21 men managed to escape the mine which is reportedly in danger of flooding after an explosion, the BBC reports.
The men are said to have been working on safety improvements and are stuck 1,000 metres underground.
Seven rescue teams are searching for the trapped men with more than 20 medical teams on standby.
The explosion at the Karl Marx mine in Yenakiyevo happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The mine is the oldest in Ukraine, having opened in 1858, and is now at serious risk of flooding according to deputy prime minister Olexander Turchinov.
In May, 11 people were killed following an explosion at a nearby mine and in November 101 miners were killed at the Zasiadko mine in Donetsk.
