A passenger ferry carrying 100 people has sunk off Turkey's north-west coast, killing at least one person.
The ferry was carrying 73 lorries and two cars went it went down in the Sea of Marmara, near the port of Bandirma, on Sunday evening.
Local officials confirmed that 68 people had been rescued, 31 of them injured, while almost 30 more remain unaccounted for.
"Our rescue operations are continuing around the area where the boat sank, but because of the darkness of night it's been difficult to work," Selahattin Hatipoglu, the governor of the Balikesir province, said.
Crewman Melih Erim also told the AFP news agency: "There was great panic and no-one was in a position to help others... It was just like the Titanic disaster."
The cause of the sinking is currently unknown and rescue operations are ongoing.
