Jordan named top celeb mum

Jordan, real name Katie Price, has been named as the celebrity mum of the year in a public poll.

The glamour model, columnist and author saw off competition from celeb mummies including Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham and Davina McCall in the survey sponsored by Grattan.

She is mother to five-year-old Harvey and two-year-old Junior. Her third child is due this summer.

Harvey, whose father is the footballer Dwight Yorke, was born partially blind and with a growth disorder.

On New's Year Eve he was rushed to hospital after climbing into an empty bath and scalding himself on the hot tap.

Speaking at the awards ceremony today, Jordan said: "I'm so pleased to receive this award. Harvey and Junior will be so proud of their mummy."

"The general public showed in their voting just how much they respect and admire her as a mother," said Grattan boss Mike Hancox.

"Katie has become a symbol of how a person can constantly be in the public eye, whilst remaining a devoted and doting mum."

Previous celeb mums who have won the award include Kerry Katona and Sharon Osbourne.
