Arsenal put the disappointment of their home defeat to Hull behind them as they ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over FC Porto at the Emirates.
The visitors had the better of the opening 30 minutes, but somehow managed to go into the interval 2-0 down to goals from Robin Van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor.
Van Persie got his second and Arsenal's third shortly after the break and Adebayor also got his second of the night from the penalty spot to put a satisfying gloss on the scoreline for Arsene Wenger's men.
Arsenal took the lead in the 31st minute through their Dutch international Van Persie, and in route one fashion.
Adebayor won an earlier header and found Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard slid a perfect ball back to the Togo international who squared across goal where the on-rushing Van Persie poked into an empty net.
The second came nine minutes later when last season's top scorer Adebayor headed a Van Persie corner into the ground and in off the crossbar.
Van Persie got his second three minutes into the second half when he capitalised on some truly terrible Porto defending.
Adebayor made it four from the spot after Nicklas Bendtner was brought down on the edge of the box.
Porto will argue that the scoreline wasnt an accurate reflection of the game, but with four points from two games, Arsenal certainly won't be complaining.
