Take That singer Howard Donald is being treated in hospital after pulling out of his band's European tour reportedly suffering from a collapsed lung.
A statement on the group's website said that the 39-year-old had sustained a "chest injury" and had been taken to hospital upon arrival in Vienna.
He subsequently missed the band's gig in the Austrian capital, with Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Mark Owen forced to perform by themselves.
According to reports Howard could be out of action for up to three weeks.
"I'm really disappointed and upset that this has happened, as I've never had to miss a show before," the singer said.
"It's unbelievably frustrating being sat in a hospital when I should be onstage with the guys," he said.
His bandmates added ahead of last night's Vienna show: "Our friend's health is of the utmost priority and we wish him a speedy recovery, we'll make sure tonight's show is still a fantastic experience for the fans."
Take That, whose comeback to pop stardom has been accompanied by a couple of number one singles and a top-selling album, are due to perform in Zurich, Switzerland, tonight.
