Great Britain will face Argentina in their first tie since returning to the elite World Group of the Davis Cup.
John Lloyd's side come up against the third-seeded country in the world. They will have to travel to South America for the challenging fixture without Tim Henman, who took his final bow from the sport on Saturday.
The draw follows Great Britain's impressive 4-1 win against Croatia last weekend at Wimbledon to assure the side's place in the top tier of international tennis for the next year.
"This is a time of celebration for British tennis, and we are all in it together. Once again, thank you for the support and lets build on this momentum," Lawn Tennis Association chief executive Roger Draper said.
Players including David Nalbandian, Guillermo Canas, Juan Ignacio Chela, Juan Monaco and Agustin Calleri, who all feature in the top 50 players in the world, are among those who could block further progress for Great Britain on February 8th-10th next year.
As well as Andy Murray (world number 18), Britain must rely on Alex Bogdanovic (129), Jamie Baker (224) and Richard Bloomfield (241) to continue their winning run.
Great Britain last played Argentina in 1989 when they lost 3-2 in Eastbourne.
