European captain Nick Faldo has revealed he will employ additional assistants to keep track of all the goings-on at the Ryder Cup later this week.
The Englishman has come in for criticism for having only vice-captain Jose Maria Olazabal to help him out when it comes to keeping tabs on his players out on the Valhalla course and juggling his selections for the four-ball pairs and Sunday's singles matches.
But Faldo, speaking as he prepared to board today's flight to Kentucky ahead of this Friday's big tee-off, has seemingly placated the clamouring for him to employ addition assistance.
"I'll have a couple of helpers once I get there, don't worry," he told Sky Sports.
"You'll just have to be patient."
Faldo also revealed he already has plans for the opening rounds of golf this week after considering the implications of various pairings for several weeks before, and the two weeks since, he announced his final team of 12.
"I've already got a couple of formulas in mind and some good thoughts up my sleeve," he said.
"I'm in a great position because I've got 12 guys who are playing great."
One of the ten automatic qualifiers, Sweden's Robert Karlsson, experienced the perfect preparation for the Ryder Cup by winning the Mercedes Benz Championship in Germany yesterday.
And Faldo admitted it was "good timing" for Karlsson - along with all the others - to be coming into form at the right moment.
"That was really great for Robert to go and win," the captain added. It's a big help - all the guys have played really well lately to hold their places in the team.
"I've just got to put the reins on them and get them out there."
