Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho has insisted he is not interested in moving to the Premier League to join Manchester City.
The former world player of the year came close to joining City last summer, but instead chose to move to AC Milan. Ronaldinho however has struggled to make an impact at the San Siro and only made 16 starts for the Italian giants.
Reports over the weekend claimed that cash-rich City would go back for Ronaldinho, with Milan hinting they would be willing to part company with the playmaker. But Ronaldinho sees his future with Milan and wants to be a success at the club.
"Moving to Manchester City is not part of my intentions," Ronaldinho told La Reppublica. "I am good at Milan even if the truth is that I wish I had played more.
"I feel good here, with the team, the directors and with the fans. I don't have it in mind to leave this jersey.
"It's true that I hoped to become Italian champion with Milan and I am sorry that we have not achieved this objective. But I promise that next year we will win the Scudetto and the Champions League."
Ronaldinho spent five glittering years at Barcelona, where he won La Liga, the Champions League and was twice crowned world player of the year.
But the 29-year-old has suffered a shock dip in form, which led to his exit from the Nou Camp and a move to Milan. He has however failed to cement his place in a star-studded Milan midfield, which includes the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Kaka, Clarence Seedorf and David Beckham.
