Former West Ham and Tottenham striker Fredi Kanoute has revealed a number of English clubs are interested in bringing him back to the Premier League.
The Mali international had some success in his five seasons in England, but has gone on to be a revelation in Spain. Kanoute has scored and impressive 77 goals in 115 appearances for Sevilla and has helped the club to two Uefa Cup triumphs and qualification for the Champions League.
The 31-year-old has just over a year left on his Sevilla contract and claimed his agent has already been approached by potential suitors from the Premier League, although he refused to name the clubs.
"My agent keeps getting calls from English clubs but I have a contract with Sevilla," Kanoute told Four Four Two magazine. "In England I still have a good reputation which is a good sign and means that people remember the work that I did there.
"I know I will soon begin negotiations to extend my Sevilla contract but I need to speak to the club's president and sports director to see the club's plans and mine.
"I don't know how many years I have left but I am fine physically and hope to continue for many more years."
Kanoute started his career at Lyon before moving to West Ham in 2000. He spent three seasons at Upton Park and scored 29 times for the Hammers. The striker also spent two relatively unsuccessful seasons at Tottenham and was sold to Seville in 2005.
