Kaka has reportedly agreed to move to Real Madrid in a world record £56 million transfer, according to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser.

Only this morning, the AC Milan playmaker insisted that he wanted to stay at the San Siro, but it now seems like the club have decided to cash-in on their prized asset.

Cadena Ser claims that Kaka's father and agent, Bosco Leite has confirmed that the two parties have agreed a deal, following talks between newly appointed Madrid president Florentino Perez and Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.

Kaka's spokesman Diogo Kotscho has confirmed that Madrid have come in for the player, but insisted a deal was still a long way off.

"Kaka will listen to Real and decide whether or not to make the transfer," said Kotscho."What I can say for certain is that the Spaniards and Milan have not reached any agreement."

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi said earlier in the day that he was unsure if the Italians could keep Kaka as Madrid have offered the Brazilian "so much more money".

But money doesn't seem to be the most important thing for Kaka, as he proved after turning down a £100 million transfer to Manchester City in January and wages of a reported £200,000 a week.

If Kaka does move to Madrid, then it will be the beginning of Perez starting a new Galacticos era at the Bernabeu, with Cristiano Ronaldo reported to be the next target.
