Tim Henman has been handed an intriguing first-round match at Wimbledon after being drawn against 25th seed Carlos Moya of Spain.
British number one Andy Murray, who is seeded eighth for the tournament, will play Nicolas Lapentti in the opening round.
The Ecuadorian, ranked number 63 in the world, could be a tricky opponent for Murray. He reached the quarter-finals at the All England Club in 2002 and has a decent grass-court record.
However the 20-year-old Scot, who made the fourth round as an unseeded player in 2006 and beat Andy Roddick on the way, is still a doubt to take his place in the draw as he is still suffering with a wrist injury.
Grass-court specialist Henman, a four-time semi-finalist in his 14th outing at the All England Club, will not be wholly unhappy at the draw against Moya.
The Spaniard's seeding of 25 is somewhat generous as his record at Wimbledon is patchy to say the least.
He has played the grass-court grand slam only once in the last five years, when he reached the fourth round - his best-ever performance - before losing to Lleyton Hewitt in four sets.
Henman will hope to use his superior experience on the surface to cause an upset of the clay-court specialist in the first round.
Elsewhere top seed Roger Federer will open his defence of the title against Teimuraz Gabashvili of Russia while French Open champion Rafael Nadal opens against Mardy Fish of the USA.
Queen's Club winner Andy Roddick has been drawn against Justin Gimelstob in an all-American first-round match.
