Controlled explosion at Ibiza airport

Security tight at Ibiza airport
A suspected Eta bomb has been safely detonated at Ibiza airport after a security alert.
Earlier the entire complex was cleared on the Balearic island when Spanish police received a tip-off from Basque newspaper Gara.
The newspaper has been traditionally used by separatist group Eta to announce planned attacks.
Gara said an anonymous caller had informed it of an "explosive device" at the Spanish island's airport, which has now had all outgoing and incoming flights cancelled for today.
Earlier this month Eta announced it was withdrawing from a unilateral ceasefire; one it had previously declared would last forever.
But despite the truce last December two people died at Madrid's Barajas airport in an Eta blast.
More than 800 people are thought to have died during the group's bloody struggle for an independent Basque state, despite the majority of resident in northern Spain and southern France saying they are content with their already high levels of autonomy.
