Chelsea have completed the loan signing of Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan.The winger will join up with Luiz Felipe Scolari - who managed the 25-year-old when he was coach of the Portuguese national team – on a deal that runs until the end of the season. Quaresma only joined Inter last summer from Porto for a fee in the region of £15 million but has since struggled to settle in Italy and was branded ‘the worst signing of the season’ in an Italian newspaper poll.Speculation that he would leave the San Siro intensified when Jose Mourinho left him out of Inter’s squad for the knock-out stages of the Champions League.Tottenham made an attempt to sign him but Quaresma instead opted to once again team up with Scolari. He becomes the third Portuguese international Scolari has signed since taking charge at Stamford Bridge following the previous acquisitions of Jose Bosingwa and Deco. Quaresma’s unhappy spell in Italy mirrors the season he spent in Spain when he signed for Barcelona from Sporting Lisbon in 2003.
