Six British hopefuls have been given wildcards into the Wimbledon Championships, which take place later this month.
The tournament, which starts on June 23rd at the All England Club, will see Jamie Baker and Alex Bogdanovic enter the draw for the men's singles title.
In addition, Elena Baltacha, Katie O'Brien, Melanie South and Naomi Cavaday have been given wildcard entries into the women's singles tournament.
Xavier Malisse of Belgium will join Baker and Bogdanovic while Jeremy Chardy of France and Frank Dancevic of Canada were also granted passes into the tournament.
The women's singles will also include Urszula Radwanska of Poland and Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain.
There are five more wildcards to be announced with three men and two women still to be entered into the draw.
Briton's hopes will rest on Andy Murray, the world number 11, who reached the third round of the Artois Championships today.
The Scot went through when his opponent Sebastien Grosjean was forced to retire with a groin injury.
Murray has been tipped to do well at the tournament by his former coach Brad Gilbert, who feels he is behind Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in the running for the title.
