Brazil have reached the semi-finals of the Copa America after thrashing Chile 6-1, while Uruguay beat hosts Venezuela 4-1.
The defending champions scored three times in the opening half to quickly put the game beyond Chile's reach.
Juan grabbed the first goal from a corner after 17 minutes before Julio Bapsista added a second five minutes later.
The forward, who was on loan at Arsenal last season, was on the end of a fast breakaway and fired home from the edge of the box.
Robinho claimed the third just before the half-hour mark as the Samba boys cruised into the break.
The Real Madrid player scored his second of the game, and his sixth of the tournament, at the start of the second half to make it 4-0.
Josue scored his first international goal in the 69th minute before Chile pulled one back. Humberto Suazo went on a brilliant solo run, wrong-footing Gilberto before chipping Brazil goalkeeper Doni.
But there was still time for Brazil to grab one more as Vagner Love competed the rout five minutes from time.
Earlier former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan scored twice to help Uruguay beat Venezuela. He latched on to a long through-ball before neatly tucking it past goalkeeper Renny Vega.
The host equalised before half-time thanks to Juan Arango's free-kick which took a wicked deflection on its way into the goal.
Uruguay stepped up the pace in the second half as Pablo Garcia restored their lead after an hour, with Cristian Rodriguez making it 3-1 soon after. Forlan then added the fourth just before full-time.
