Barcelona vice-president Marc Ingla has revealed he is in the process of negotiating with Arsenal for the transfer of Alexander Hleb.
The Arsenal midfielder has been the subject of transfer speculation for a number of months with the likes of Barca, Inter Milan and Real Madrid all allegedly interested in acquiring his services.
But it seems that Barcelona are the first club to make a proper move for the Belarus international and a fee in the region £15 million could be enough to prize Hleb away from the Emirates.
"The negotiation with Hleb is still in progress and despite him being a player with special qualities, if his club are not ready to sell him, we have other options in mind," Ingla told Catalunya Radio.
"We are not going to worry ourselves in our current operations. We want to close in on our signings by July 6th, but even if the motion of censure adds pressure to us we don't worry ourselves.
"We are hopeful the motion will not succeed and we will be able to plan the future," added Ingla who came to London earlier this week.
Barcelona are in the process of a major reshuffle of their squad with new coach Josep Guardiola confirming that the trio of Ronaldinho, Deco and Samuel Eto'o can all leave the Nou Camp this summer.
