Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed he wants to sign a new contract with Arsenal.
The Togo striker has been heavily linked with moves to Barcelona and AC Milan.
Adebayor was expected to leave the Gunners after reportedly demanding his salary be quadrupled.
But the 24-year-old, who bagged 30 goals last season, has now pledged he wants to stay at the north London club.
"Now I can tell everyone that, yes, I will sign a contract," Adebayor told the club's official website.
"I never told anyone I would be leaving this club, never ever. I'm very happy we've found a solution.
"I have three years left on my contract and I'm putting two or three years more, so I'm very happy being part of this family."
Adebayor joined Arsenal from Monaco in 2006, and has scored 36 goals in 78 appearances.
The Gunners rejected a £24 million bid from Spanish giants Barcelona last month.
Adebayor said the transfer speculation had not destroyed his relationship with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
"When we started talking about my contract I never told him I'd be leaving this club and he knew my desire," Adebayor said.
"My desire was to stay at this club so for me he's like my father, he's my boss so whatever he tells me I'll do it.
"Our relationship at the moment is always strong, there is no doubt about that."
Adebayor is expected to play in this weekend's Emirates Cup which features Juventus, Real Madrid, and Hamburg.
