An anti-Taliban cleric has been killed in a bomb blast in Pakistan, local officials have reported.
Police claim Maulana Sarfraz Naeemi was killed in the capital Lahore in one of two suspected suicide bomb blasts reported on Friday.
At least four people are thought to have been killed in the attacks which targeted an Islamic school in Lahore and a mosque in the town of Nowshera with dozens more injured.
The Reuters news agency reports moderate cleric Sarfraz Naeemi was attacked at his mosque complex shortly after leading Friday prayers.
"Unfortunately, Maulana Sarfraz Naeemi has been martyred," Lahore police chief Pervez Rathore is quoted as saying.
The latest blasts came as Pakistani forces stepped up attacks against militants throughout the north-west of the country.
