Warrington Wolves hooker Jon Clarke is in line to make his Great Britain debut after being selected in the starting XIII against New Zealand.

The 28-year-old comes into the front row for Saturday's second Test against the Kiwis, replacing Bradford Bulls' Terry Newton who is dropped following the 20-14 victory in the opening match of the series.

Fit-again Leeds Rhinos duo Kevin Sinfield and Danny McGuire are recalled to the 17-man matchday squad in place of St Helens pair James Roby and Jon Wilkin.

Sinfield, who missed the first Test with a stomach bug, starts at loose forward, while McGuire has recovered from a broken hand to take Roby's place on the bench.

The Saints star and 2007 Man of Steel was given permission to spend time with his partner and new-born son, who was born six weeks premature but is reported to be "doing fine".

Last week's debutant and try-scorer Sam Burgess, 18, drops to the bench despite an assured performance against the New Zealanders as Sean O'Loughlin switches to second row and captain Jamie Peacock moves to prop.

A win for the Lions at the KC Stadium in Hull on Saturday would mean they take an unassailable 2-0 lead into the third and final match of the series in just over a week's time.

Full Great Britain team for second Test:

P Wellens (St Helens), A Gardner (St Helens), K Senior (Leeds Rhinos), M Gleeson (Warrington Wolves), G Raynor (Hull FC); L Pryce (St Helens), R Burrow (Leeds Rhinos), A Morley (Warrington Wolves), J Clarke (Warrington Wolves), J Peacock (Leeds Rhinos, captain), G Ellis (Leeds Rhinos), S O'Loughlin (Wigan Warriors), K Sinfield (Leeds Rhinos).

Substitutes: M Fa'asavalu (St Helens), J Graham (St Helens), S Burgess (Bradford Bulls), D McGuire (Leeds Rhinos).
