Lawrence Dallaglio says he is enjoying his rugby so much at the minute he has not given any thought to retirement yet.

The Wasps forward admits his England days may be over but claims he is playing at a level that excites him for his club and does not want to stop yet.

Dallaglio expects some new names to be in the England squad for the Six Nations in February and, although he has not ruled himself out, admits he is unlikely to add to his 84 caps.

He told the Daily Mirror: "I'm not about to make any decisions on England either way.

"There are many good players coming through now and I think they will get the opportunity that perhaps they haven't had over the last two or three years."

Dallaglio says he is relishing the chance to take on Clermont Auvergne in the Heineken Cup in a must-win game for his side today and says it is big European games like that which inspire him to keep playing.

Having broken his leg on the Lions Tour in New Zealand in 2005, Dallaglio says he has now recovered sufficiently and is playing as well as he was before the injury.

"I'm certainly playing better now than I have at any stage over the last couple of years. Possibly the end is not that far away and therefore I'm enjoying my rugby more than ever before," he said.

"On that basis I shan't be making any decisions about retiring in the immediate future," the former England captain concluded.
