Leicester's Tom Varndell and Dominic Waldouck of Wasps have been brought into England squad to tour New Zealand in replacement of the injured Paul Sackey and Dan Hipkiss.
Even before his side have set off, coach Rob Andrews has already been forced to re-jig his squad after a series of unlucky injuries hit key players.
The former international can feel especially unlucky when it comes to the fly-half position, with Hipkiss, who suffered a fractured cheekbone while representing Leicester at the weekend, having only been brought in himself to replace Danny Cipriani, who was forced to withdraw from the squad after hurting his ankle.
At the same time, Sackey will not be on the flight to Aukland after he picked up a knee injury.
With winger Varndell and centre Waldouk having been called up from the England Saxons' Churchill Cup squad to gain their first full international caps, room has been made for Leeds Carnegie's Tom Biggs and Saracens' Adam Powell to make the step up from club level.
England will take on the All-Blacks in two Test matches in Aukland on June 14th before flying to Christchurch for a match one week later.
