Harry Hill's TV Burp saw the big-collared comedian claim his third prize at the Bafta Television awards on Sunday.
The 44-year-old won best entertainment programme - beating Jonathan Ross, Ant and Dec and Stephen Fry to the gong - for the second consecutive year.
"I never thought I'd get three Baftas for a clip show. Ridiculous," he joked as he collected his third TV Bafta.
Stephen Dillane was named best actor for The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall, with Anna Maxwell Martin defeating Andrea Riseborough, Maxine Peake and EastEnders veteran June Brown to win the best actress prize.
Sketch show Harry and Paul won best comedy programme while The IT Crowd claimed the best sitcom prize ahead of Peep Show, Outnumbered and The Inbetweeners.
Peep Show's David Mitchell had cause to celebrate as he took the best comedy performance award while Wallander was named best drama series, winning Kenneth Branagh his first television Bafta, some 20 years after he won a film prize from the Academy for Henry V.
Other winners included The Bill, The X Factor and Mad Men while Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders were jointly given the Bafta fellowship.
