Polish minnows Lech Poznan came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at home to Udinese in the Uefa Cup last-32 first-leg this evening.
Italian international Fabio Quagliarella opened the scoring early in the second-half as he latched on to a Gaetano D'Agostino cross to head home.
Udinese doubled their lead after Ivan Turina managed to keep out a Gokhan Inler shot, but the ball came back off Lech defender Manuel Arboleda and beat Turina.
Despite the two goal deficit, Lech refused to throw in the towel and came storming back. They were twice denied by the woodwork as first Semir Stilic hit the post and then Robert Lewandowski's effort came back off the crossbar.
Lech got a deserved goal after 81 minutes as Hernan Rengifo go on to the end of a cross from Lewandowski to score. Arboleda then became the Lech hero as he headed home from a corner to give his side a chance of progressing after the second-leg in Italy next week.
Elsewhere, Kennedy Bakircioglu grabbed the goal as Ajax claimed a vital 1-0 win away at Fiorentina in the first-leg.
Teenage forward Marko Arnautovic gave Steve McClaren's FC Twente the initiative as his goal gave the Dutch side a 1-0 win over Marseille in France.
