Robinho has admitted fans were right to boo after Brazil's goalless draw against Colombia in Rio de Janeiro yesterday.
The match was Brazil's second consecutive 0-0 draw on home soil and the Manchester City striker has admitted the whole team played badly, as the side continues its tradition of poor World Cup qualifying performances under coach Dunga.
"The fans have a right to boo," Robinho told Globoesporte.
"I had an awful match. In fact, all the team played bad."
The statement comes amid the ongoing debate over England fans' booing of Ashley Cole at Wembley, after his defensive howler against Kazakhstan gifted the minnows a goal in their 5-1 defeat.
Attention now turns to Robinho's fitness ahead of Monday's Premier League game against Newcastle United.
The striker was substituted after 63 minutes replaced by AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato due to an injury and Robinho felt his performance was sub-standard up until that point.
"I did not strike a ball at goal. I did not dribble. I did not do anything worthwhile. I was awful and, yet, left the field injured," he said.
However, he claimed Columbia's tactics were also to blame for the result.
"It is also true that the Colombians committed many fouls and did not allow us to play," he added.
Robinho's injury looks unlikely to see him miss Monday's league fixture.
However, the full picture will not be clear until the Brazilian returns to Eastlands for further scans.
Brazil's draw against Columbia followed a 4-0 victory at the weekend against Peru, where Robinho picked up a brace.
The South America group for World Cup qualification is now headed by Paraguay five points clear of Brazil and six points clear of Argentina and Chile.
