Three people accused of murdering British student Meredith Kercher are due to appear in court today.
Amanda Knox, 21, her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 24, and Herman Guede, 21, are all charged with her murder but deny the charges.
Meredith, 21, from Coulsdon, south London, was found dead in November in a flat in Perugia, Italy, she shared with Ms Knox.
Today's closed hearing will be the first time all three suspects have been in court together. Last week, Mr Sollecito failed to turn up to a hearing claiming he was ill, but his lawyer Marco Brusco confirmed he would be present on Friday.
The Daily Mail quotes Mr Brusco as saying: "Last week Raffaele was ill but on Friday he will be there. He is suffering a great deal from all this because he is innocent and he has lost weight.
"He really has reached his limit but we are supporting him and we have gone through the documents with him and we will present a strong case for him at court.
"Rudy Guede has insisted that Raffaele was at the scene but he wasn't. He really wants to look him in the eye as he tells the judge this and we will prove he is lying."
