Wales' grand slam win in the Six Nations has been improved further by Shane Williams' recognition as the tournament's best player.
The winger played a crucial role in his team's absolute triumph, scoring six tries to become his country's record try-scorer.
He said he was "thrilled" to be named the player of the championship.
"Being named the RBS player of the championship is a fantastic end to what has already been a phenomenal week," the Ospreys star said.
"This year's RBS Six Nations has been a special championship for me and for all the boys for lots of reasons - beyond our wildest dreams really - and this is just the icing on the cake."
Williams also hailed the "sensational" support of fans, whose voting had made his award "an even greater honour".
Fifty-five per cent of 19,000 voters named Williams as their player of the tournament on the official Six Nations website.
Italy captain Sergio Parisse was second from a shortlist of six with 14 per cent of the vote, while Wales skipper Ryan Jones was third with 12 per cent.
Mike Blair, Vincent Clerc, Mike Philips completed the list of nominees drawn up by former internationals Jason Leonard, Keith Wood, David Sole, Ieuan Evans, Philippe St Andre and Alessandro Moscardi.
