US arrests 'Iran propaganda expert'
Coalition forces in Iraq have claimed the capture of a propaganda specialist suspected to be linked to Hizbullah Brigades early Monday morning in a Baghdad neighbourhood.
Using information from criminal suspects already in custody, coalition forces determined the man uploaded images and videos of attacks on Iraqi security and coalition forces.
Reports say his work on these websites is part of a propaganda effort to gain support from
Iranian financiers. According to the coalition, intelligence indicates Hizbullah Brigades is an offshoot of Iranian-trained Special Groups.
Information from contacts already detained also helped to locate and apprehend the man without any incident.
After questioning his wife, who confirmed him as the suspected propaganda specialist, the coalition forces were able to arrest him.
