At least 11 people have been killed after a bomb exploded in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, local officials report.
The device detonated near a market in the southern Sunni Muslim district of Dora on Wednesday morning, with 30 other people thought to have been injured.
Reports suggest the attack involved a suicide bomber driving a lorry up to the market.
The bombing is one a series of attacks to have struck Baghdad in the last few weeks. Last month, 355 Iraqis were killed during violence, making it the deadliest month of the year so far.
Last week, Britain ended combat operations in the southern regions of the country and handed over control of Basra to the US military.
Barack Obama has also announced the winding down of US operations with a full withdrawal from the country by the end of 2011.
