Two-time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams powered into the fourth round with a 6-3 6-4 victory over Roberta Vinci.
The second seed outclassed the Italian to set up a last 16 match against Daniela Hantuchova.
And Hantuchova is facing an uphill task if Williams' form in her third round match is anything to go by.
The American, who has yet to drop a set in this year's championship, raced into a 3-0 lead after a double break.
Williams served out for the set, and refused to take her foot off the gas in the second set.
She gained an early break, and then repeated the trick for a 4-1 lead. Williams then comfortably served out the match to keep her quest alive for her first Wimbledon crown since 2003.
Elsewhere, fourth seed Elena Dementieva beat fellow Russian Regina Kulikova 6-1 6-2 in 59 minutes.
Another Russian, Nadia Petrova, is through to the fourth round after seeing off Gisela Dulko 3-6 6-3 6-4.
Meanwhile, seventh-seeded Vera Zvonareva has pulled out of Wimbledon because of an ankle injury.
Zvonareva was set to play Virginie Razzano of France in the third round but pulled out before the match.
