At least six children have been killed after a train collided with a school bus in the French Alps today. The accident occurred in the town of Mesinges when the train, travelling from Annemasse and Thonon-les-Bains, crashed into the bus carrying around 50 children. At least 30 people were also injured in the accident.No further details regarding the cause of the accident are currently available. President Nicolas Sarkozy paid tribute to the victims during a speech earlier today."All of us are thinking of the children, the adults, the victims. We can only hope there will be as few victims as possible," Mr Sarkozy said.
