Five people will stand trial over the Air France Concorde crash in 2000.

The crash killed 113 and eventually led to Concorde being permanently removed from service.

Those due to stand trial include two employees of Continental Airlines, two workers from Aerospatiale, the makers of Concorde, and an employee of the French civilian aviation authority.

Air France Flight 4590 burst into flames shortly after taking off from the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris eight years ago.

All 100 passengers, nine crew members and four people on the ground were all killed.

The trials are set to take place in two and three months' time.
