Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been passed fit to face Everton in the Premier League this Saturday despite breaking his nose during the week.
The Spaniard sustained the injury during his country's clash with Belgium on Wednesday night but he still played the full 90 minutes as the injury was not causing him too much discomfort.
Fabregas revealed he is still unsure if his nose will require surgery, but said it is unlikely given that his breathing and the shape of his nose is largely unaffected.
"There is a fracture but it has not come away from the main partition in the nose," he told Spanish broadcaster EFE.
"After the game it was pretty swollen but I hope this will not prevent me from playing.
"We will have to see if it continues being OK and that I don't need an operation."
Fabregas' fitness for the fixture at the Emirates Stadium is a boost for manager Arsene Wenger, who already knows he will be without a key trio of players who were injured during the week.
Captain William Gallas injured his hamstring on international duty with France, while full-back and countryman Bacary Sagna has suffered a knee problem.
Striker Nicklas Bendtner picked up an ankle injury on duty with Denmark.
