The Brazilian navy has discovered part of the tail fin from the Air France jet that crashed into the Atlantic a week ago.
Pictures released on Monday showed divers securing the tail fin, which was clearly marked with distinctive Air France colours.
Twenty-four bodies have now been recovered by Brazilian and French crews 1,100km off the Brazilian coast.
Debris such as wing sections and luggage was also recovered, with one briefcase found containing a ticket for the doomed AF447 flight.
The A330-200 disappeared from radar and failed to make scheduled radio contact on Monday, but the reasons for the crash are not expected to be fully known amid predictions the flight data and voice recorders have sunk.
All 228 passengers aboard the flight are thought to have been killed on the way to Rio de Janiero from Paris.
