Actress Lucy Gordon, who was found dead in her Paris flat, left two suicide notes before hanging herself, it has been confirmed.
The 28-year-old, who appeared in Spiderman 3, left a letter to her parents and another detailing how she would like her property divided.
Lucy's father, Richard Gordon said his daughter's boyfriend, cinematographer Jerome Alveras, who woke up to the sight of her dead, had nothing to do with the incident.
He said: "There is no question of foul play. Lucy committed suicide."
Mr Gordon stated that he spoke to Jerome daily, adding that he was "distraught".
In comments yesterday, her agent Ms Simpson described her as a very talented actress who recently made a breakthrough in her career with a role in La Vie Heroique.
She said: "She was sparkling, warm-hearted, touching and generous and we will miss her sorely.
"My team and I are baffled and devastated by this wholly unexpected tragedy and our sympathy goes out to her family and also the director, cast and crew who recently completed principal photography in Paris."
