India's Jeev Milkha Singh held his nerve in the final round to hold off Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els to win the Singapore Open by one shot.
Singh completed his third round on Sunday, carding a 67 to put himself in contention, he then scored a round of two-under-par to beat Harrington and Els.
Chapchai Nirat of Thailand, who led after the third round, struggled with the pressure in his fourth round and shot a 78 to finish down the leaderboard.
Denmark's Thomas Bjorn and England Oliver Wilson, who had also been in the top three heading into the final round, suffered similar fates.
Bjorn carded a 74 to finish tied for seventh place on three-under, while one-time leader Wilson suffered a final round of eight-over-par to finish way down the leaderboard on ten-over for the tournament.
Singh carded three birdies on the front nine to put himself towards the top of the leaderboard at the turn.
He claimed the outright lead when he birdies the 11th hole but slipped back to a tie with Harrington when he bogeyed the 13th.
At the 16th Harrington saw his chip to the green fall back into the water and he could only manage a double-bogey.
Singh bogeyed the hole as well but managed to par the closing holes and when Harrington's birdie putt at the last fell short the Indian was within sight of victory.
Els had a chance to force a playoff at the final hole but his birdie attempt also stopped just short of the hole.
