Victoria Beckham's full participation in the Spice Girls' upcoming reunion tour is in doubt following a persistent chest infection, reports claim.

According to the Sun, the 33-year-old has been struggling with the infection for two months, with both traditional and homeopathic efforts failing to treat it.

"Victoria can't get rid of her infection," a source told the tabloid.

"She's worried she won't be fit while all the other girls are turning their bodies into machines."

Vic's ill health comes as husband David returns from an extended spell on the sidelines that kept him from turning out for club side LA Galaxy, while his father Ted suffered a heart attack at the beginning of October.

Earlier this month it was claimed that Posh Spice had fallen out with Geri Halliwell after she leaked details of the band's new single, Headlines.

The group's five members are all due to fly to London today to film the video for the single, their first in seven years.

The Spice Girls' worldwide tour begins in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2nd, with two extra dates added yesterday at the Manchester MEN arena on January 23rd and 24th next year due to high demand.
