While Calum Best's reputation as a playboy precedes him, the 25-year-old has been given a taste of his own medicine by a Love Island love triangle involving Bianca and Leo.
It all started when The Streets singer was booted off the island earlier in the week, but unbeknown to the other celebs was still knocking about watching video clips in the secret suite.
One of these said clips included a rather raunchy embrace between Calum and Bianca, with whom he had developed something of an ongoing chemistry.
Leo's reaction to Calum moving in on his territory was succinct: "I can see it in the eyes it was porn based - I'm talking about the rubbing, the deep tissue massage that Calum gave Bianca, the cuddling, the knickerless groping."
Then to everyone's sheer horror, in a marriage themed event, Leo the self-styled lion burst out of a giant wedding cake to spring Calum and Bianca, who knew that had both been busted.
Leo profusely denied that he had ever seen anything happen between the pair, but the obvious tension became too much for the newer addition to the romantic paradise, as Calum confessed to his rival.
"I don't want to step on anybody's toes. I'm here for me before anyone else. I don't want any awkwardness," he said.
But Leo insisted that said awkwardness was unlikely on account of him being a "cool dude", on which they shook hands.
The state of affairs was far from resolved, however, with an impassioned Leo demanding of Bianca that she explain the situation between her and Calum.
"It's not really a big one. We said we were going to meet up on the outside. Calum said he's going to meet me. And that's how it's been left. The situation in my eyes is more a lust thing than anything not anything else," she claimed.
Later than evening, Calum, incensed by Bianca's decision to chat with Leo on the beach instead of preening with him, wrote her a very disgruntled note, saying that she had "proper disrespected" him.
In true Love Island style the whole matter was quickly resolved though, with producers finally giving Leo the boot after his day in the sun, with an opportunistic Sophie deciding that now was the perfect time to move in on Calum, saying she empathised with his 'can't accept being second-best' nature.
