Injured Chelsea duo Didier Drogba and Andriy Shevchenko have both travelled to Spain and could be in contention to start against Barcelona in tomorrow's Champions League tie at the Nou Camp.
The two strikers have been struggling with injuries over the past week, prompting concern they may be forced to sit out the Blues' second group stage match with the European champions.
Jose Mourinho included them in his 20-man squad which flew to Spain yesterday, however, and either could now be included in his starting line-up.
Drogba, whose prolific form this season has emphatically quietened his critics, has had treatment on a knock sustained against Sheffield United in Saturday's win at Bramall Lane while Shevchenko, who missed that trip, is still sidelined with a leg muscle problem.
Blues fans will be hoping both big-money signings recover in time as is Shevchenko himself who admits he would love to relive his experience of beating Barca on their home patch.
The £30 million Ukraine star scored a hat-trick for Dynamo Kiev in 1997 when his side won 4-0 at the Nou Camp against Louis van Gaal's Barca.
Shevchenko said: "It's a wonderful memory. The public in the Nou Camp were waving white handkerchiefs for Barcelona and applauding the Ukraine team. I scored one penalty after I was fouled and two headers."
Barcelona warmed up for tomorrow's clash with a 3-0 win over Recreativo on the weekend.
