All four British sides got their European Challenge Cup campaigns off to the perfect start with victories.
Harlequins notched up their first win of the season with a nail-biting 19-18 win away at Connacht.
The visitors, boosted by the return of skipper Paul Volley, scored a try through Tom Williams while Adrian Jarvis kicked four penalties and a conversion.
Elsewhere, Bath produced a stunning first-half display to see off Montpellier 21-14.
The visitors, who led 11-0 at the break, were led by a try from Nick Abendanon and three penalties from Chris Malone.
Newport-Gwent Dragons produced the most impressive display after thumping Bayonne 50-3.
The Welsh side rammed in five tries through Michael Owen Gareth Cooper, substitutes Richard Fussell and Nic Fitisemanu with Mike Hercus sealing the rout.
