Lebanese-born singer Mika has finally broken X Factor winner Leona Lewis' hold over the UK singles chart.

The pop artist's single Grace Kelly rose from last week's number three position to become the new number one, while Lewis' Kelly Clarkson cover, A Moment Like This, slipped down to number six.

Just Jack's Starz In Their Eyes rose two places to number two while Same Jeans by View climbed to number three in their second week in the charts.

Another big climber moving into the top ten was Calm Down Dearest by Jamie T, which shot up from number 40 last week.

The highest new entry was Mason's Exceeder, which came in at number 11.

In the album charts there was less change, with Amy Winehouse continuing to stay at the top with her record Back To Black and James Morrison's Undiscovered also unmoved at number two.

Former number one Beautiful World by Take That slipped from number four to number eight, while the highest new entry was Jojo's The High Road, which charted at number 30.
